Some of the best things that you can take from our region are free: A sprig of lavender, a just picked fig, a sea fossil, a view that opens your mind. Practically speaking, our region has everything that you could need (within reason) however, you’re not necessarily coming here for things that you can buy back home. You may be interested in what is uniquely Spanish and from the Maestrazgo.
Morano sheep were brought to this region. The woven blankets and knitted sweaters from Morella are beautiful and could be needed for your trip. Handmade, hand-held fans of pear wood are both exquisite and reasonable. One town specializes in traditional Arab pottery, another in walking canes.
Bring home a taste of Spain.
Many of the delicious savories that you relish during your stay are
available in tins. Sardines, anchovies, dried meats, white asparagus, every kind of pate from partridge to pear. This is the region of the Muscat grape, which makes the excellent dessert wine: Muscatel.
